Being practical, we'd be surprised if Marvel's Spider-Man 2 will be swinging into our lives this side of 2024. It's plausible that the developer began tinkering on Spider-Man 2 as soon as the OG wrapped - which would put Spider-Man 2 on track for 2022. Insomniac first started work on Marvel's Spider-Man in 2014 and followed it with a 2018 release. In terms of when we could see Spider-Man 2, your guess is as good as ours. Spider-Man polished off the Sinister Six and Kingpin, meaning we'll need an even bigger to lead the way in Spider-Man 2. The end of the first game hinted at what's next with a tease of Norman Osborn's transformation into Green Goblin and a possible twist on the source material with Harry Osborn becoming Venom.
It's important to remember Insomniac hasn't officially given Spider-Man 2 the green light yet. The fact that #RatchetPS5 drops this week, means that soon enough Insomniac is about to be all hands on deck for Spider-Man 2😈😈😈 /pStIVIMjLJ
